Keynote Title & Session Description
“The Culture of One™ – Transforming Cross-Cultural Barriers into High-Performance Drivers”
In today’s globalized world, cross-cultural misunderstandings don’t just affect the bottom line—they affect you. A missed cue or a misinterpreted message can erode trust and disrupt collaboration, and these barriers can drain your energy and impact your effectiveness.
While conventional wisdom suggests that mastering cultural norms is key, it often falls short because our “common sense” isn’t so “common” in a culturally diverse environment. Our “common sense” creates a barrier and leads to misunderstandings, miscommunication, and mistrust. But what if, instead of struggling with these cross-cultural barriers, we could transform them into high-performance drivers?
It’s time to uncover “the Culture of One™” —the unique blend within each individual and transform your team into a high-performance powerhouse. Guided by the timeless Japanese principles that Natsuyo’s late father instilled in her – 誠 Sei – 和 Wa – 魂 Kon – this keynote merges the precision of these values with the fluidity of ballroom Latin dance, which Natsuyo passionately practices.
Just as each dance step creates connection, you’ll learn how to lead with intention, communicate effectively, and bring out the best in every team member, no matter where they are from. Get ready to transcend cultural norms, and transform cross-cultural barriers into high-performance drivers.
*A follow-up breakout session, “the 3-step process of effective cross-cultural communication” is available upon request.

I just had the pleasure of hearing Natsuyo Nobumoto Lipschutz speak at [your event name], and I immediately thought of how impactful her message would be for your audience at [their event name].
Her keynote, “The Culture of One ~ Transforming Cross-Cultural Barriers into High-Performance Drivers,” was one of the most insightful sessions I’ve attended on cultural inclusion and communication. Rather than presenting culture as a fixed set of traits, Natsuyo reframed it as a dynamic, individual-centered concept—what she calls “The Culture of One.”
As an audience member, I walked away with practical, immediately applicable tools for:
Navigating cross-cultural differences with more curiosity and less judgment
Recognizing the hidden assumptions I bring into conversations
Creating more inclusive, collaborative environments—especially in high-pressure, diverse team settings
Natsuyo’s delivery is both intellectually sharp and personally moving. Her background as a former strategy consultant, a bilingual speaker, and the first Japanese recipient of the Certified Speaking Professional® designation makes her uniquely equipped to address audiences in global-facing and DEI-conscious industries, like [industry name].
If you’re planning future events where culturally diverse team leadership and communication are a focus, I highly recommend connecting with her. I’d be happy to make a personal introduction.

Testimonial
“Natsuyo is a born storyteller, able to craft just the right vehicle into which she weaves a message further amplified by the tale she tells. By the end of the talk you’re fully invested in the topic and you become so engaged that you have no choice but to continue traveling down that road on your own. By marrying emotion and logic Natsuyo is able to transport her listeners where she wants them to go. That is a gift.”

Frequently Asked Questions
My standard fees for an in-person conference, company event, etc. is $18,000 for a keynote, and $30,000 for a keynote and a workshop.
My fees include pre-event strategy call, post-event reflection call, books, recording available for a month, etc.
My standard fees for a virtual keynote is $15,000. I do sometimes discount my fees depending on the event and the organization, but the $10K – $18K range is what I’m looking for. But I’m more than happy to work with client’s budget.
Please do not share this fee information without asking me first. This is only for you to know what types of events are a good fit.
My fee is an all-in fee that includes travel expenses within 1000 mile radius, books, access to e-learning program (when appropriate), pre-event planning meetings, post-event reflection meeting, a promo video that I will produce (when appropriate), and recording available for internal views for 1 month.
When budgets are tight, I can remove some of these items to bring my fee down (within reason).
YES! I am happy to pay a 10% commission to anyone who makes an introduction/referral that leads to a paying gig.
I generally pay this commission after the event has taken place and is paid in full.
I speak primarily at corporate events for companies that either do business with overseas clients (often in Asia) and/or have culturally diverse employees.
I have spoken to leaders in legal, consulting, accounting, pharmaceuticals, finance, manufacturing, and many other industries.
I’ve also been invited to speak to the chamber of commerce and start-up accelerators.
I have a collection of corporate training, workshops on cross-cultural communication skills, global team facilitation skills, and global presentation skills.
I also provide private presentation coaching, e-learning programs, and webinars. If you’d like more information on these additional services, please ask me.
An email introduction is usually best, so that I can follow-up directly and track/manage the conversation.
Please feel free to use the intro email sample shown above. It helps a lot if you speak to the person first and let them know the email introduction is coming.
A “warm” introduction like that is usually better received than an email that seems to come out of nowhere.
Yes, I do! Whenever I speak at an event, I try to follow up with a few good recommendations for other speakers who would be a great fit for future events.
I also like to have great options to recommend whenever my speeches are not a good fit for a particular event. Here’s the caveat – I won’t refer you just because we’re friends or I like you as a person. I need to feel confident that your content and delivery are both high quality and are a great fit for the event/organization.
That means I can’t refer you until I’ve heard you speak! If you have videos and information similar to what I’ve provided on this page, please share it with me!

Still Have Questions?
Let me know how I can help! I’m so appreciative that you’d be willing to refer me, and will support you in any way that I can. Thanks!

She has a gift for the world, and EVERYONE needs to hear her powerful message
“Wow! She has a gift for the world, and EVERYONE needs to hear her powerful message”
“We are a German company, and we have to present and communicate clearly with our headquarters. Ms. Lipschutz has given us clarity in how to craft a message concisely yet effectively. We are hosting our first Chlorine Symposium APAC this year, and we are relying on Ms. Lipschutz’s training to prepare our speakers.”
In Japanese or English, Natsuyo is the consummate public speaker. To say that she practices what she preaches is a given, but on top of that there are simply some things which can only come from years of practice and personal discipline. Natsuyo has that and more. Natsuyo is a born storyteller, able to craft just the right vehicle into which she weaves a message further amplified by the tale she tells. By the end of the talk you’re fully invested in the topic and you become so engaged that you have no choice but to continue travelling down that road on your own. By marrying emotion and logic Natsuyo is able to transport her listeners where she wants them to go. That is a gift. I had the incredible good fortune of being coached by Natsuyo when I was preparing to give a keynote address in Japanese. Not only did she help me craft the message, she coached me through its delivery, and despite my many misgivings about exposing my Japanese to the world, she eased my anxiety and ultimately enabled my success. Whether looking for a speaker or looking for help in speaking, Natsuyo is far and away your best choice.
“Moving people through public speaking is SO difficult, and only a small fraction of leaders can do it. Then when you add in cross-cultural complexity, how many do you really know? One of those is Natsuyo Lipschutz, who makes it all look easy. More importantly for those of us speaking to employees, partners and outside groups, Natsuyo knows how to teach it, too. Visit her website and get the information you need to speak, speak well, and have an impact. Make your life a little easier. Highly recommended.”
“I first saw Natsuyo give a speech over 4 years ago — and immediately became a lifelong fan. She was that impactful. Since then, I have seen her present multiple times in a variety of formats, and had her guest in a podcast I hosted. In each case, time and time again, she delivers a message that is unique, personal yet universal, and impossible to ignore. Her speaking style and delivery embodies both grace and energy, while consistently integrating vivid storytelling into crystal-clear messaging and humor — taking the audience on an emotional journey while being informative at the same time. As a side note: she also exhibits professionalism in her every interaction; she has talent without behind-the-scenes drama or ego. I cannot recommend Natsuyo highly enough as a speaker, and urge anyone reading this hire her immediately. And PLEASE — make sure I get a ticket to see her, too!”
“Natsuyo conducted a wide and deep market research, analysed vast amount of qualitative and quantitative data, and drilled down on a strategic direction we should take. The strategy helped us grow our business in the US. We are now onto another project with Natsuyo to develop a long-term strategy.”
“We’ve worked with multiple speech consultants, but Natsuyo’s approach is second to none. Her McKinsey trained strategic and analytical skills allowed us to take a big leap from “the top IT company in Japan” to a “world class” global company.”
“Natsuyo is one of the most engaging and dynamic presenters I have had the pleasure to watch. The information she provides is extremely useful and highly relevant. But more importantly, it is delivered in a manner that makes it so completely relatable. Cross-cultural communications affects us all, and Natsuyo is the person to help you navigate the path.”
“Natsuyo gave us practical tools to improve our cross‐cultural communications. Her talk was very engaging!!”
I’m a presentation coach myself and I’ve received help in the past from a few world champions. So I’ve obviously worked with some real professionals in this field and know what I’m saying when I say, “Natsuyo is absolutely wonderful. Really, really wonderful at what she does, and she makes a fabulous story strategist. I’m also a literature teacher who teaches writing style, structure and analysis. Natsuyo, knows, her stuff. She gets an A+++ for storytelling class! (and I don’t dish those out easily. Ask my students !!)
